Dr. Manoj Ojha, currently pursuing his post doctoral
research at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay delivered a Students’
Benefit Lecture on 12th March 2018 on pleochroic haloes and
application of sophisticated techniques. Dr. Manoj Ozha did his Ph.D. from IIT,
Kharagpur. In his presentation he showed various images of sophisticated
microscopes like SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), EPMA (Electron Probe
Micro- Analyser) etc. which he has been using in his research. He also
explained the concepts of supercontinent generation and breakdown.
